02/17/05 -- I recently saw Skagit Valley Mafia at the Mannette Saloon and they rocked my socks off.  The lead singer delivered unrelenting soul-gut wrenching harmonies, but the bass player was the most original with body language like I have never seen before in performance.   Rock solid drums from Wes backed up the band and Wes's brother had the lead and rhythm guitar aced.  I will definitely go to another show of theirs when I have the chance.
